Follow These Guidelines:

1. Have at least 5 meals a day. Eat every 3 hours.
2. Have 2-4 ounces of protein at each meal.
3. Pre-package meals & snacks. Label with day & time and refrigerate so you can just grab & go.

Complex carbs are basically those in wholegrain form such as wholegrain breads, oats, muesli and brown rice. As an example, begin by adding 1 slice of wholegrain bread to your lunch and ½ cup of prepared brown rice to your dinner.
