HOW STRESS IMPACTS OUR ABILITY TO LOSE WEIGHT & FEEL GREAT

A little stress is good for your body. A lot of stress isn't. Our bodies are not designed for the fast-paced, always-on-the-go demands that life seems to dictate in today's world. Cortisol is our primary stress hormone. In small amounts, cortisol is needed by the body to control carbohydrate metabolism, inflammation and cardiovascular function. Cortisol is also known as the "fight-or-flight" hormone because of its effects in increasing blood pressure and blood sugar levels to help us run away from or fight off a predator or other stressful event.

Unfortunately, while small amounts of cortisol are a "good" thing, too much cortisol for too long is most certainly a "bad" thing. Elevated cortisol levels have been associated with increased appetite and weight gain.

Take CortiSlim as part of the CortiSlim Lifestyle of stress management, weight loss and exercise. As with any weight loss program, the amount of weight that you ultimately lose will be based on many factors, such as your dietary intake, exercise level, and overall levels of stress.

IMPORTANT: Talk to your doctor or other health care professional before starting a stress management, weight loss, weight management, or exercise program.
